This week's announcements

*April – Hospital Volunteer Opportunities – Western Hospital and Community Hospital O’leary have volunteer positions available, including: Information Desk Clerk, Mealtime Setup Helper, Musical Entertainer, Friendly Visitor, Pet Visitor, Gardener, and more.  If you are interested in making a difference at your local hospital please contact Andrew at 902-853-8692 or adramsay@gov.pe.ca.

*April 9^th – Holy week is now upon us and we are looking for volunteers to help get St. Peter’s Church Hall ready for Holy Week. We will be doing this after the church service on April 9.

*April 10^th – Holy Week Services will be held at St. Peter’s Church at 12:05 pm Monday April 10 to Thursday April 13 with a soup following the 20 minute service. The schedule for hosting families is:

Monday – Anglican

Tuesday – United

Wednesday – Nazarene

Thursday – Roman Catholic

*April 13^th – We are now accepting Easter Memorial Donations at St. Peter’s, in memory of loved ones. Donations go toward the Memorial Fund and to help decorate the church with flowers.

*April 15^th – We are looking for volunteers to help decorate St. Peter’s church for Easter. We will be meeting on Saturday April 15 at 10:00 am to do this.

*April 17^th 7 p.m. – Evening of Easter Music – Interdenominational Choir will be hosting an evening of Easter Music on Waster Monday April 17^th at 7 pm at the Gordon Memorial United Church, Alberton. Everyone is invited to join the choir. Anyone that would like to join the choir please be at the church at 6 pm. for a short practice.
